Hidehiro Imatsu is President and Representative Director of Goldman Sachs Japan Co., Ltd. and a member of the Management Committee. He also serves as Co-Head of global Interest Rate Products Trading and Co-Head of the Asia Pacific Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) Franchise. Mr. Imatsu is also a member of the Asia Pacific Management Committee and Global Banking & Markets Operating Committee, and he serves as Co-Chair of the Asia Pacific Risk Council. Previously, he was Head of Macro Trading in Japan. Mr. Imatsu joined Goldman Sachs in 1996 and rejoined the firm as a Managing Director in 2005. He was named Partner in 2008.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Imatsu managed interest rate derivative trading and structuring at Morgan Stanley in Japan.
