Kathy is global director of Internal Audit. In this capacity, she is responsible for providing independent opinions on the firm’s control infrastructure, and supports the Board of Directors reporting directly to the Audit Committee. She is a member of the Management Committee and serves as an observer on the Firmwide Enterprise Risk Committee, Firmwide Conduct Committee, Firmwide Regulatory Oversight Committee and the Firmwide Reputational Risk Committee. Prior to assuming her current role, Kathy was head of Investment Management Division Controllers. Before that, she worked in Controllers supporting the Global Markets business in New York and Hong Kong. Kathy joined Goldman Sachs in 1996 as an analyst, was named managing director in 2007 and partner in 2014.

Prior to joining the firm, Kathy worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, specializing in financial services audit.

Kathy is a member of the President's Council of Cornell Women and an alumni advisor to the Cornell Dyson School.

Kathy earned a BS in Business Management from Cornell University and is a certified public accountant.
