
Kunal is co-chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs International (GSI) and global co-head of FICC. He is co-chair of the Partnership Committee, European Management Committee, and EMEA Talent Council, and serves on the Management Committee. Previously, Kunal was global head of Emerging Markets, and before that, he was a cross-asset proprietary trader in the Global Macro Prop Group from 2004 to 2007. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 as an analyst in Interest Rate Products Trading and was named managing director in 2010 and partner in 2014.
Kunal serves as chair of the Leadership Council of EMpower, a global nonprofit focused on marginalized youth in emerging market countries. He also serves on the Bank of England's Market Participants Group.
Kunal earned a BA in Mathematics from Gonville and Caius College at the University of Cambridge in 2004.
