Goldman Sachs Completes Spear, Leeds & Kellogg Transaction

NEW YORK – The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE:GS) today reported that the previously announced transaction to combine with Spear, Leeds & Kellogg L.P. (SLK) has closed. SLK is a leader in its three core businesses – securities clearing and execution, floor-based market making and off-floor market making.
