Goldman Sachs Announces New Managing Directors

NEW YORK, October 24, 2007 -- The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE: GS) today announced that it has invited 299 individuals to become Managing Directors as of December 1, 2007, the start of the firm’s fiscal year.
