NEW YORK, Feb 4, 2025 – The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) today announced the appointment of Nick Giovanni as Partner in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Group in Investment Banking based in San Francisco.
In his role, Nick will work with our global TMT team to deliver differentiated advice and solutions as our clients consider a range of strategic transactions. Having operated as a technology executive for several years, Nick will bring unique insights to our work with our clients in this sector.
Nick rejoins the firm from Instacart where he was chief financial officer from 2021 through 2024. Previously, Nick worked at Goldman Sachs for more than two decades, advising on hundreds of financing and strategic transactions in Silicon Valley and around the world while working in our offices in the US and Asia. He held several leadership roles at the firm, including as head of the TMT Group, and prior to that, co-head of Technology Investment Banking and head of Internet Investment Banking. In these roles, Nick served as a trusted advisor to many of the world’s leading technology founders as they have scaled their businesses from private companies to global leaders.
