Goldman Sachs Announces Leadership Updates

NEW YORK, January 26, 2026 – The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) announced new members of the firm’s Management Committee today.

“Each of these leaders brings considerable experience, a deep knowledge of the firm, and extensive expertise serving our clients across our Asset & Wealth Management franchise to their expanded leadership roles,” said Goldman Sachs Chairman and CEO David Solomon. “The opportunity to continue to grow our franchise across AWM is a core strategic objective for the firm, and this group of leaders will help us advance our goals as we continue to build a global, scaled AWM platform.”

The following Partners have been named to the Management Committee, effective today:

  • James Reynolds, global co-head of Private Credit within Goldman Sachs Asset Management and chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs Asset Management International 
  • Vivek Bantwal, global co-head of Private Credit within Goldman Sachs Asset Management 
  • Michael Brandmeyer, global head and chief investment officer of the External Investing Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management
  • John Mallory, will become global co-head of Wealth Management
  • Kristin Olson, global head of Alternatives for Wealth within AWM
  • Nishi Somaiya, will become global co-head of Wealth Management
  • Gregory Calnon, global co-head of Public Investing within Goldman Sachs Asset Management
