Private equity inflection point

With over $1.2 trillion of private equity dry powder, a looming debt maturity wall, and a $3 trillion backlog of portfolio companies, Rob suggests, “It's not a question of if, it's just a question of when.”
As the backlog begins to unwind, we’ll start to see material increases in both sponsor IPO activity and sponsor M&A, Pulford notes.
