"We sat down with Richard Lofgren, Managing Director in the Client Solutions Group, Asset &amp; Wealth Management in Dallas; Caroline Fraser, Global COO of Financial Crime Compliance at Goldman Sachs in London; and Ashish Sinha, Vice President, Global Banking &amp; Markets in Bengaluru to hear about how their military backgrounds have contributed to their Goldman Sachs careers. \r\n\r\nRichard joined the Navy in 1993 and, upon separation from active duty, started a career in financial services and joined the firm in 2020. On December 5, 2023 Richard was confirmed by the United States Senate to the rank of Rear Admiral in the United States Navy. Prior to joining the firm through the <a href=\"/content/gs/gscom/careers/programs-for-professionals/veterans-integration-program\">Veterans Integration Program</a> in 2014, Caroline served as a Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force. Ashish served as Lieutenant Commander in the Indian Navy for 12 years before starting his Goldman Sachs career as an Associate in the Global Banking &amp; Markets business.\r\n"
