Promotion of Early STEM Education Via Coding Workshops
Engineering is at the critical centre of our businesses, and we recognise the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education for children. Since 2018, Goldman Sachs in Singapore has partnered with secondary schools to conduct in-depth online and in-person Python, Raspberry PI and microcontroller workshops for students interested in coding. A key example is the AI Illuminator Coding Workshop supported by Infocomm Media Development Authority, which offered students hands-on, industry-led training beyond classroom and a glimpse of tech application in finance.
