About the Facility

WEOF was established to help unlock finance for entrepreneurs in emerging markets by deploying capital and advisory support for financial institutions.
Women Entrepreneurs Opportunity Facility
Launched in 2014, the WEOF is a first of its kind initiative, developed with the IFC to increase access to capital for entrepreneurs in emerging markets. In 2025, we released the report: IFC & Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women: A Decade of Innovation, Investment, and Impact, detailing the impact of the facility in markets around the world.
